Set Up for Success

Our goal is to give students a positive college experience while also providing parents and guardians with everything they want from off campus housing near the University of Tampa. Being mere steps from University campus with spaces for studying and socializing, students will be able to enhance their college experience while balancing student obligations.

Fully Furnished Units

South Hyde Park Flats has designed every apartment to come fully furnished. This includes appliances, cabinet space, a bed frame and mattress, a desk and chair for studying, and more. Each unit also includes a flat screen TV, as well as a full-size washer and dryer. This eliminates the worry of purchasing and transporting furniture to and from college, resulting in a much smoother transition. 

Electronic Entry

The security and well-being of students is our top priority at South Hyde Park Flats. Safety measures include a controlled access electronic lock system, which runs throughout the building and amenities areas and limits entry to residents and people with authorization. The same electronic lock system is installed on the doors of apartments and bedrooms, thus ensuring every resident has personal privacy. 

Individual Housing Contracts

Our housing contracts are a yearly commitment and conveniently last from mid-August through July to accommodate your student’s school schedule. Furthermore, all apartments are rented by the room. This means students are only responsible for their own rent and are not liable for the rent of their roommates. 

Roommate Matching

To make things even easier, we are happy to provide roommate-matching services. Students fill out a personal profile survey which assists us to match them with someone compatible with their academic studies, interests, and hobbies. 

Student Focused Environment 

South Hyde Park Flats excels in creating a well-rounded space catering to both academic and social needs. We provide several study rooms, WiFi throughout the building, and even a study area in each individual bedroom in order to encourage academic advancement. On the other hand, the courtyard will incorporate an area to cookout and relax by our fire pit, making it the perfect spot to socialize and meet friendly faces.

South Hyde Park Flats is conveniently located just a short walk down the street from the University of Tampa, making the commute to class a breeze. Your student doesn’t need a vehicle to enjoy living here. Not only is campus close by, but popular waterfront destination, Bayshore Boulevard, is right around the corner, giving students the opportunity to catch the sunset or go for an evening stroll with friends.
